About Us
Fairdale Fair Community United is a 501 (c) (3) corporation that operates the annual Fairdale Fair. The Board of Directors and all of it members are from the local Fairdale community. We meet once a month to collaborate, encourage and plan for this wonderful annual event. The annual Fairdale Fair has been held every year since 1930. In 2025 a new 501 (c)(3) corporation was created giving the local people of the community the ability to be more involved in the planning, operations and volunteerism of the fair. We hope that this change makes the fair stronger and better and more community orientated.

Welcome! I'm proud to call Fairdale home and honored to serve our amazing community. Fairdale has grown and changed over the years, but one thing has always stayed the same, our strong sense of community and the way we support our neighbors and friends.
I graduated from Fairdale High in 1976 and began helping coach the 7th and 8th grade football team as a sophomore in 1973. Over the years, I've been involved in law enforcement, logistics, youth development, community organizing, and leadership. Volunteering has always been important to me, and I’ve had the privilege to serve in many roles, including with the Fairdale Fair.
With your continued support, we’re excited to bring back some of our most beloved events. This year, we’ll have another great Fairdale Fair and Parade, Light Up Fairdale in December, and the return of the Fairdale Spring Festival. Plus, we’ll be representing our community again at Forest Fest next year.
We want to work with you as neighbors, volunteers, and partners to make these events the best experience for everyone.

Founded in 2010, Fairdale Fair began as a small group of like-minded individuals who wanted to make a positive impact in their community. Since then, we have grown into a thriving organization with over 500 members.

I want to thrive in serving our small community more and to help others in need. My community work is inspired by my deep love for my family and the neighborhood I call home. Seeing the positive impact that strong support and guidance can have on young people has motivated me to give back in meaningful ways. I believe that by helping to create opportunities and a nurturing environment for the youth, that I’m contributing to a brighter future for the entire community.
